A leading State Farm office is growing rapidly with an open position on our sales team. No sales experience is required, but sales aptitude is a must. The right candidate will be intelligent, coachable, and have an internal motivation to succeed.

While there are numerous insurance opportunities out there, as a member of our agency team, you will:

  • Work with the leading auto, home and life insurer in the US (instant brand recognition)
  • Be trained on how to sell and use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance
  • Be compensated on a base plus commission structure
  • No nights and weekends
  • Paid Holidays and vacation time
  • Valuable experience and potential to own your own Agency with our Aspirant Program.

Requirements/ Traits

  • Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, or retail management ) preferred, but not required
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
  • are driven and achievement oriented
  • has a positive mindset
  • is able to learn new things quickly, with problem solving ability
  • is comfortable talking on the phone or in person to generate interest with ways our company can help the potential client.
  • is able to engage potential prospects in person or on the phone
  • Ability to effectively relate to a client
  • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain if not already have)

Responsibilities

  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
